Help Save our Building!
The sanctuary floor at Grace & St. Paul's Church is literally sinking beneath our feet, but we're determined to use this as an opportunity to grow and transform!
In October 2013, our Church Council voted to begin a project to not only investigate and repair the sinking floor, but to implement a whole new slate of exciting mission-based projects which would not be possible without the building we are blessed to call our home.
PHASE 1 involves raising $2,200 by February 1, 2014. This will pay for an engineer to remove the floor boards and investigate the sub-structure supporting the sanctuary in order to create a plan of action for how to repair the sinking floor.
PHASE 2 involves raising an anticipated $48,000. This will pay for, not only the repair of the floor, but also a complete resurfacing of both the Sanctuary and Baptistery and the creation of beautiful one-of-a-kind labyrinth on the floor of our sanctuary. The timeline for Phase 2 is under revision, but donations are always welcome.
The labyrinth will be a work of art and a sacred space, open to the public for viewing and meditation during regular hours each week. Inside the completed labyrinth we hope to host an exciting range of spiritual and artistic activities, including:
